I used to be a person who likes to have everything in place before committing.
So when I booked my first trip to India at a time when I had no extra money for unexpected retreats – I shocked myself.
But as I booked the trip, different energy flowed through me.
I was not stuck on the treadmill of my mind. I was not trying to force a structure of logical reasoning.
The energy came from my heart. And I trusted my heart.
This newfound sense of trust became a beacon in my future decision-making and one of the most profound benefits of mindfulness practice.
Because of this trust, I continued to make many “impossible” dreams come true.
What’s something YOUR heart has been telling you?
A quote to reflect on:
“Don’t be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart.” – Roy T. Bennett
